While returning back from Hyderabad today after interaction with team Deloitte my @vistara flight got delayed by 1.30 hrs, I thought let me sit in the lounge but as always it was running long waiting period so I decided to walk towards gate no. 8 and sit there.
While walking towards gate no 8, which is at one end of airport, holding my crutches in hand, a golf cart passed by. Driver perhaps saw me and stopped the cart, requested people sitting in it, to make some sitting space and asked me, if I wish to sit?
Few middle aged ladies and gentlemen (apparently a bit fat) were enjoying the ride. Ladies were also kind enough to ask me to sit.
I politely refused, thanked them and said it’s good to walk, I will walk. As it is since last 2 days due to travel I couldn’t walk or run so was feeling dull and low on energy so didn’t want to lose opportunity.
When you feel tired, rest is not the solution always. Most often it’s working out. And as my left side of the body misbehave now, so, I ensure that I should sunb it and push left side more. So, I hold things in left hand and exert. That also means exercises should be inbuilt in your daily routine to avoid using pretext that I couldn’t find time to exercise 😜… It helps a lot.
The gentleman sitting in buggy, had a surprised smile on his face. He looked towards me as if his eyes were admiring but with a guilt of he being not walking.
Anyways, I reached the gate, sat down and checked my phone for the message received. It said, flight is delayed and gate is changed to no. 22B. That was at the beginning 😄
Meanwhile, while walking towards gate no 8 I had met two girls who were in the audience today, stopped by for a selfie with them. So, when I was walking back to 22B I met them again. What happened they asked, I said gate changed so walking back to the beginning. Omg, that far, was the reaction.
Out of care, one proposed why don’t you take buggy. I was smiling, how could I tell them that my desire to cover up for lack of walk is heard by almighty. 😜😁😄
